Une animation chronologique situe les photographies de l&#8217;exposition sur une carte du monde. Cet extrait illustre un \u00ab \u00e9tat du monde photographique \u00bb en 1845, 6 ans apr\u00e8s la divulgation de la daguerr\u00e9otypie.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-15433 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/oi-paris.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Album_du_monde_1845-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"340\" \/><\/p>\n<p>D\u2019abord pratiqu\u00e9e par des occidentaux au service des pouvoirs en place ayant compris l\u2019utilit\u00e9 de cette nouvelle imagerie pour asseoir leur autorit\u00e9, elle a ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 adopt\u00e9e par des op\u00e9rateurs locaux pour se fondre tr\u00e8s t\u00f4t dans les traditions picturales notamment \u00e0 T\u00e9h\u00e9ran, en Inde ou au Mexique et bien s\u00fbr au Japon, marquant le d\u00e9but d\u2019une longue histoire.<\/p>\n<p>R\u00e9flexions \u00e9galement sur la nature de l\u2019acte et de l\u2019image photographiques : Jacques-Philippe Potteau en illustre la dualit\u00e9 en r\u00e9alisant dans les ann\u00e9es 1860 des photographies \u00ab anthropologiques \u00bb qui sont aussi tout simplement des portraits d\u2019individus (m\u00eame ambigu\u00eft\u00e9 pour August Sanders, une cinquantaine d\u2019ann\u00e9es plus tard).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ken Domon. Le ma\u00eetre du r\u00e9alisme japonais<\/strong> (Maison de la culture du Japon \u00e0 Paris jusqu\u2019au 13 juillet 2023)<\/p>\n<p>Japon toujours et \u00e0 l&#8217;autre bout du quai Branly avec la premi\u00e8re exposition en France de Ken Domon. Il aura document\u00e9 le quotidien de l\u2019\u00e8re Showa, des pr\u00e9paratifs de la guerre et \u00e0 ses cons\u00e9quences, 12 ans apr\u00e8s, \u00e0 Hiroshima.<\/p>\n<p>On remarquera \u00e9galement de tr\u00e8s beaux tirages de photographies couleur datant des ann\u00e9es 1960. Le num\u00e9rique permet d\u2019en tirer la quintessence et de gommer tout effet \u00ab vintage \u00bb, renfor\u00e7ant le caract\u00e8re intemporel du sujet : la s\u00e9rie \u00ab P\u00e8lerinage aux temples anciens \u00bb.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00ab Ouvrir l\u2019album du monde \u00bb au mus\u00e9e du quai Branly et \u00ab Ken Domon.
